Conference and travel support
The CSE division provides financial support to student organizations interested in sending members to a variety of national conferences. These events are an excellent chance for students to network, find employment and internships, see talks from accomplished individuals in their field, and peruse options for graduate study. Support has been offered to members of organizations studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science at the undergraduate level, or Computer Science and Engineering at the graduate level, to defray costs associated with travel and registration.
Conferences that were supported by CSE include:
- Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing
- Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing
- National Society of Black Engineers National Conference
- Graduate Society of Black Engineers and Scientists
- Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National Convention
- Out in STEM National Conference
- Society of Women Engineers National Conference
