Research Group on Quantum Communication
An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource.
Our meetings start officially at 10:20am. All faculty and students are welcome to attend.
At the meeting on October 24th, Evan Noon will give a presentation about "semi-device-independent" quantum protocols.
