Dr. Stefanski is the Executive VP in charge of Organizational Development at TIBCO.
I will discuss the basic principles of starting and building a technology company. The talk will focus on lessons learned in my professional journey from The University of Michigan (MS Eng 1986, JD 1989) to the creation of TIBCO Software, a leading Silicon Valley-based software company.
Bob Stefanski is Executive VP at TIBCO in charge of Organizational Development and has held various positions with the company since its inception, including EVP of Corporate Development and General Counsel. Prior to joining TIBCO, Bob practiced law in New York with Weil, Gotshal & Manges, a major international law firm. He also served as Director of Intellectual Property for financial news and information provider for Reuters. Bob is a graduate of The University of Michigan Law School and holds an M.S. from The University of Michigan Graduate School of Engineering. He holds a B.S in mathematics and computer science from Northern Michigan University.
