DEI Committee hosts OUTdoors@CSE mixer for LGBTQ+ students and allies
The event saw over 100 attendees learning about LGBTQ+ resources on campus, eating ice cream, chalking the Grove sidewalk, and painting flower pots.
On September 6th, the CSE DEI Committee hosted community-building event OUTdoors@CSE for LGBTQ+ students and allies within the division. Over 100 attendees participated in activities including: learning about LGBTQ+ resources on campus, eating ice cream, chalking the Grove sidewalk, and painting flower pots.
The event was organized by the OUTdoors committee, which included graduate students Snehal Prabhudesai and Nel Escher, Dr. Sindhu Kutty, Research Scientist Mithun Chakraborty, and DEI staff member Sarah Snay.
