Sid Meier (BS CCS 1975) is the developer of Civilization, Starships, Ace Patrol, Railroad Tycoon, Pirates!, and other highly influential, groundbreaking games. Sid is Founder and Director of Creative Development for Firaxis Games and is ranked 2nd in IGN's list of Top 100 Game Creators of All Time. Amongst his many recognitions, Sid received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Game Developer's Conference in 2008.
