Four U-M alumni have been awarded the ACM A.M. Turing Award:

• Michael Stonebraker (MSE EE ’66, PhD CICE ’71) – awarded in 2014
• Fran Allen (MA Math ’57) – awarded in 2006
• Stephen Cook (BS Math ’61) – awarded in 1982
• Ted Codd (MS, PhD Cpt&Com Sc ’61, 65) – awarded in 1981
