Despite a delay due to COVID-19, U-M fielded four teams in the annual programming competition.

The games were conceived and developed by teams of students working remotely during the summer of Covid.

The Michigan Aeronautical Science Association (MASA) won the first ever Spaceport America Cup, an intercollegiate rocket engineering competition with over 110 teams from colleges and universities in eleven countries.

Four EECS students part of the Michigan Men’s Rowing team that won their 9th consecutive national championship

The group will hold a once-a-year hackathon for local high school students in addition to other events.

MHacks: Refactor, v7 of the nationally-renowned U-M hackathon, drew many more women, underrepresented students and first-timers.

This semester the creators are focusing less on numbers and more on the experience.

Over 1,300 students were represented at this 36 straight hour event to produce creative and impactful projects.

This will include seven intro-level workshops and a new event entitled Women@MHacks, which is an 8-hour long event directed towards female engineers.

The Michigan Hybrid Racing team’s Spark took home a 4th place finish.

Taking first place in acceleration and second place in endurance and autocross, this is one of the team’s best international finishes to date.

The Autonomous Surface Vehicle Competition is a student robotics competition in which teams race ASVs of their own design through an aquatic obstacle course.
