Facebook Hackathon

We're very excited to announce the second annual Facebook Hackathon at UMich on March 16th & 17, 2012!

If you don't know what a Hackathon is…

Hackathons are a unique part of our culture that allow the entire company to focus on building new things in a nights work. They are often the birthplace of new products like chat, video, and HipHop for PHP.

Join the Facebook team as we stay up all night hacking and having a good time. We'll supply the food, fun diversions, lots of prizes and some professional guidance. You bring your skills and ideas. We'll see you there.

Winners of each Hackathon will be flown out to our new Menlo Park campus in November to compete against the other winning teams from Hackathons held at other universities across the world.

You'll want to start thinking of an idea and assemble yourself into a team of no more than 4 people. Be sure to arrive early to hold your spot!
