The Computer Science and Engineering Division at Michigan is home to one of the oldest and most respected programs in computation in the world.

We provide a progressive curriculum, internationally-recognized faculty, and an intellectual community that values diversity, interdisciplinary teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking, and inventiveness.

Undergraduate programs of study are available to students in both the College of Engineering and College of LSA.

Exposing internet censorship around the globe

A team led by Prof. Roya Ensafi has turned public internet servers into automated sentries that can monitor and report when access to websites is being blocked.
