Research Group on Quantum Communication

SHARE:

An interdisciplinary group (EECS & Math) has formed to study research problems in quantum information theory. We focus on problems in quantum communication. Specific goals include: (1) computing invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), (2) developing models for secure (private) communication, and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. All faculty and graduate students are welcome to attend. At the meeting on the July 11th, Evan Noon will discuss the paper "multipartite Entanglement Verification Resistant against Dishonest Parties" by A. Pappa et al. (arXiv:1112.5064.)
