Quantum Science Seminar

Research Group on Quantum Communication

SHARE:

An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource.
All faculty and students are welcome to attend. At the meeting on January 17th, we will plan for the new semester. Also, Carl Miller will give introduction to a paper written by our group entitled "on optimal entanglement assisted one-shot classical communication." (arXiv:1201.1521)
