Child Care Subsidy program
The Child Care Subsidy Program provides funds to students with children to assist in meeting the cost of licensed child care. Applications and information are available at the Financial Aid Office, the Work/Life Resource Center, and online.

Work/Life Resource Center
The Work/Life Resource Center (WLRC) helps U of M families achieve that balance through connections with campus and community resources that help to integrate personal life and work life. Resources include help with child care, elder care, and emergency back up child care.

Non-university resources

Child Care Network Family Support Programs
Child Care Network’s Family Support Programs are currently available in Washtenaw, Jackson, and Monroe Counties. The program provides parents with financial assistance for their child care costs so that they may access licensed, quality day care. The Child Care network can help qualified families who are working, going to school, in crisis situations, have lost their jobs, and grandparents raising children.

Michigan Deptartment of Human Services
The Michigan DHS is a state program for income-eligible families who need child care to work or go to school.
